No. Your video files never leave your machine. Transcription, AI analysis, and rendering all happen locally on your own CPU or GPU. The only data that touches our servers is account and billing information; your footage is never uploaded.
Yes. Video processing works fully offline. An internet connection is only needed for signing in, license verification, and optional online services such as YouTube upload.
A modern CPU and 8 GB of RAM will run ClipForge. A dedicated GPU (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) is recommended and dramatically speeds up processing. Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) is required.
Yes. ClipForge transcribes and analyzes 4K source files and exports clips in social-ready resolutions, including vertical 1080 x 1920. We recommend sticking to 1080p for a faster workflow.
It reads the full transcript and looks at what's happening on screen, the same way a human editor would; then it scores moments by hook potential and picks the strongest candidates. You can tune the results with clip styles (Viral, Informative, or Funny).
